Job Description:

The Operations and Inventory Coordinator plays a key support role within the Service Department, helping ensure that technicians have the tools, parts, and information they need to perform efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for managing service inventory, tool assignments, refrigerant compliance, and fleet-related coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

  • Maintain parts master lists and seasonal maintenance order forms
  • Assemble estimates and proposals based on technician-provided information
  • Manage company-provided tool inventory; assign tools to technicians and audit condition
  • Order and stock materials and tools for fleet vehicles
  • Coordinate and track tool repairs, replacements, and certifications
  • Order large refrigerant quantities and audit technician refrigerant logs for compliance
  • Stay current on refrigerant rules and regulations and communicate updates to the team
  • Purchase tools, equipment, and materials as needed to support the Service Department
  • Assist with service fleet coordination, including tire changes, fit-ups, and maintenance scheduling
  • Coordinate material and tool deliveries to job sites and storage units for planned maintenance work
  • Collaborate with the Service Administrator and Service Managers to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
