This 200,000 SF student center contains dining, kitchen, conference facilities, bookstore, retail space, lounges, and offices.
Mechanical System:
This project had 5 built up air handling units and 6 energy recovery units with a combined total of 163,000 cubic feet per minute capacity. The HVAC system utilized fan powered and conventional VAV boxes. The 4 kitchens on this project utilized multiple stainless steel kitchen hoods and roof top exhaust fans. VHV installed approximately 190,000 lbs of sheetmetal on this project and had a manpower peak of 28 sheetmetal workers.
